Clora McEvoy and her daughter, Yvonne Armstrong, who was visiting from Florida, enjoyed the annual Remembrance Day Tea yesterday afternoon at the local Legion. Hosted by the Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary, the popular event featured a baking and candy table, a cookie walk, as well as a variety of meat pies, cabbage rolls, and perogies for sale. There also were numerous draw and, of course, tea and dainties to feast upon.
