Noris Piccinato, left, president of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29, was handed a wreath by acting Sgt.-at-Arms Bob Boland as they approached the cenotaph here Sunday afternoon. Members of the local Legion, Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Fort Frances Royal Canadian Sea Cadets #144 gathered for a Day of Remembrance ceremony for merchant navy veterans who lost their lives during WWII. A larger ceremony was held at the National War Memorial in Ottawa.
