Arpan DeAngelo, a runner with the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, passed the torch to Torrie Spence while Mackenzie Kilgour held the organization’s flag in front of the tourist information centre here Monday morning. The international runners brought the torch into Fort Frances, with local youngsters then taking turns carrying it onto the bridge, where a ceremony was held to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the peace treaty between Canada and the U.S.
