Fort Frances won’t be the site of an Ontario Volunteer Service Awards ceremony after all.
The local ceremony—tentatively set for May 6—was dropped due to an insufficient number of recipients.
Instead, local recipients will be invited to attend the ceremony in Thunder Bay on May 7.
Fort Frances has been the site of the ceremony in the past, including one held late last May at La Place Rendez-Vous.
It could be held here again in future.
