Yesterday around 7:30 a.m., Pickle Lake OPP responded to a report of a non-responsive male who had been located at a residence on Lakeview Crescent there.
Both police and ambulance attended the scene.
A 42-year-old male Pickle Lake resident subsequently was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
His identity is not being released pending notification of next-of-kin.
A post-mortem examination was scheduled to take place in Thunder Bay today.
Pickle Lake OPP and the OPP’s North West Region Crime Unit, under the direction of Det. Insp. Peter Loree of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
