Shortly after 7 a.m. last Wednesday (Oct. 1), Rainy River District OPP officers were dispatched to a break and enter in the Maple Crescent area of Atikokan.
The investigation at the scene revealed that the break-in had happened the previous night.
Officers also made note of a second residence in the area that had been broken into.
These break-ins currently are under investigation by the Rainy River District OPP.
Anyone with information regarding these break-ins is urged to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
If you observe suspicious activity that seems out of place in your neighbourhood, be sure to report it as soon as possible to the OPP.
Working together with the community, the Rainy River District OPP hopes to bring charges against those who committed these crimes.
