The La Place Rendez-Vous Voyageurs U18 squad had to give away the win on Thursday.
They took it back rather forcefully on Monday.
Hailey Beaudry, Erin Tomalty and Jaymee Fiset all fired hat tricks as the Voyageurs cruised to a 14-2 victory in Borderland Soccer League women’s division action at the Struchan Gilson Soccer Pitches.
Beaudry and Fiset were effective at both ends of the field, as Beaudry did her damage in the first half while Fiset played goal, with the pair switching roles for the second half.
Nicole Avis added two more for the Vous (5-2-1), which had to forefeit to Al’s (3-7-1) on Thursday due to a lack of players.
Angel McCormack, Abby Sanders and Alyssa Faragher added singles.
Gabrielle Nussbaumer and Claire Crichton had the markers for Al’s, with Phyllis Pierson absorbing the onslaught while going the distance in goal.
Last Tuesday (July 15), the Vous also had the offence cranked up in an 8-2 hammering of Taggs/Source for Sports (4-4).
It was a case of share and share alike for the Voyageurs, who received goals from eight different players in the win.
Sanders, Amy Penner, Avis, Claire Hyatt, Maggie Jean, McCormack, Tomalty and Faragher all found the back of the net behind Taggs goalkeeper Heather Wright.
Jean and Sanders combined for the win in goal.
Hannah Firth-Oster and Chantal Jodoin supplied the goals for Taggs.
Last night, Al’s squared off with Taggs, with the score unavailable at press time.
Tomorrow night, the Voyageurs and Taggs will do battle at 7 p.m.
