The Ministry of Transportation advises the motoring public that Highway 618, five km west of Red Lake at Half Way Creek, is closed due to a road washout.
Safety is our top priority and repairs are underway at the site of the highway washout.
We are working to complete the repairs as soon as possible.
The highway is expected to re-open late today, depending on water levels and weather conditions.
