Fiddling away

Dear editor:
Sarah Campbell, NDP candidate for Kenora-Rainy River, likes to protest. She likes to stand on the sidewalk, wave her sign, and be seen doing it.
But at the recent NOMA meeting, she sat on her hands. Did nothing. Said nothing.
Northwestern Ontario deserves better and needs better, desperately.
Ontario is hurting. High taxes and sky-high hydro rates are driving business away. Mills are closing. Families are suffering. Jobs are going away and they aren’t coming back.
Not as long as Sarah Campbell fiddles while Rome burns.
The NDP tout themselves as the party of labour. That’s a cruel joke. The tax-and-spend policies of the left are destroying jobs in Ontario, preventing new business from starting, and crippling the working person.
Want a job? Want to keep the job you have? Don’t vote NDP.
As long as the Liberals and NDP collude to stay in government, no job is safe and we all suffer. And Ontario stays closed to business.

James Sutherland
