All 151 flood evacuees from Attawapiskat First Nation, who had been staying in town, have returned to their community.
They departed on four flights from here yesterday.
“We would like to thank all of the provincial ministries and everyone who assisted us for all of their efforts during this difficult time for the community members of Attawapiskat First Nation,” said Patrick Briere, public information officer for the Town of Fort Frances.
The evacuees had been staying at the Copper River Inn here since Saturday.
