Johnny Askwith, director of photography for The Discovery Channel, had the camera rolling at the Emo Speedway on Saturday during a special race day dedicated to Vermilion Bay driver Bill Reimer, who died while competing there back on Sept. 7. The footage will be used as part of the network’s new reality series, “Fool’s Gold,” based on a mining company operating at Straw Lake.
