U.S. educator Jody Allen Crowe spoke to local service providers and educators at the Townshend Theatre here this morning about the prevention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. His initiative, “Healthy Brains for Children,” has seen the placement of pregnancy test dispensers in women’s restrooms in bars in Minnesota and Ontario. The free workshop was hosted by Kenora-Rainy River Child and Family Services.
