Matt Anderson of the Dawson Tigers checked his swing before the ball reached the glove of Sight & Sound Wolves’ catcher Grant Swire during a Rainy River District Fastball League playoff game Tuesday evening at VanJura here. The Wolves beat the Tigers 9-4, setting up a second-round contest against the Manitou Thunderbirds tonight (weather permitting). The Tigers, meanwhile, have their season on the line tonight in an elimination game versus the Sabaskong Lakers.
