Students lined up to prepare plates of food to serve to elders and senators during an event entitled “First Nation, Métis and Inuit: Revitalizing Aboriginal Language and Culture.” Held yesterday evening at St. Michael’s School, the event featured not only a traditional meal prepared by Naicatchewenin Develop Corp. Food Services, but speeches, songs, and presentations by St. Michael’s, St. Francis, and Our Lady of the Way students as well as a performance by Métis dancers.
