Don Eldridge, owner of Lee Garden, and his wife, Hue, enjoyed humus with spicy beef and maple roasted yams—one of the several courses served up Friday evening during “Dinner with Dr. Vergidis & Friends,” an educational fundraiser for the Riverside Foundation for Health Care. About 150 guests attended the dinner at the Memorial Sports Centre, which featured healthy Greek cooking made by Riverside chemotherapy program oncologist Dr. Dimitrios Vergidis and a team of volunteers.
