Mackenzie Archie, a first-year student in the Seven Generation Education Institute’s Indigenous Wellness Addictions Prevention program showed off the children’s book “Izzy and the Apple Tree” she wrote for an assignment. The book, alongside many other student projects, were on display yesterday at Seven Generations as part of celebrations for its 25th anniversary. Ceremonies and celebrations began early in the morning and stretched out through the day, including a public open house, guest speaker Calvin Helin, and much more.
