Crews were busy yesterday putting down a fresh layer of asphalt on Central Avenue. They were expected to wrap up the job today, doing the 100 block of Scott Street. The re-paving had to be done after the work last year didn’t meet the specifications for HL4 asphalt product. Re-paving initially was supposed to go ahead last week, but it was too cold to lay asphalt.
