Jeff Gustafson netted a 3.33-pound smallmouth his fishing partner and girlfriend, August Collinson, reeled in during Saturday’s final day of action at the ninth-annual “Castin’ for Cash” fishing tournament hosted by Lake Despair Lodge north of Devlin. The Kenora-based pair, who won the tournament last year, came up just short to finish in third place with a 25.97-pound total. The husband/wife duo of Wayne and Pat Howard claimed top spot with a 26.32-pound haul—just barely ahead of second-place finishers Bryan Gustafson and Brian White of Fort Frances (26.18 pounds).
