Nancy Daley, who sits as treasurer on the board of the local legal aid clinic—gave a quick speech to those who attended an open house last week to mark the creation of the Northwest Community Legal Clinic, following the amalgamation of the Rainy River District Community Legal Clinic with the Northwest Kenora Community Legal Clinic. Trudy McCormick, left, executive director of the “new” clinic, and Bob Ward, CEO of Legal Aid Ontario, also addressed the crowd.
