Future St. Michael’s kindergarten students Kendall Bruyere, Noah Morris, and Samantha Halliday checked out a zebra hide during a “Welcome to Kindergarten” orientation held there yesterday afternoon. The hide was brought in by Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP, John Rafferty, who also regaled the youngsters and their parents with a story about how he came face-to-face with a lion while in Africa. The future students also participated in activity stations, as well as toured the school and a school bus to get them ready for the fall.
