Grand Council Treaty #3 Ogichidaakwe Diane Kelly looked on yesterday afternoon as Northern Development and Mines minister Michael Gravelle signed a letter of intent pledging to build a stronger relationship between the Anishinaabe people and Ontario government. Natural Resources minister Donna Cansfield also signed the letter during a ceremony in the roundhouse at Stanjikoming First Nation.
