Darryl Skinner, Rosanne DeGagné, and Karen Kuitunen from the local Wal-Mart were at Fort Frances High School yesterday to present a cheque for $3,000 to students and staff members to go towards installing a second Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) at the school. The money was raised through the hard work of Wal-Mart’s local charity committee and Wal-Mart grants. The school’s volunteer student medical emergency response team, is trained to use the AED alongside other first-aid, thanks to ongoing training and the support of First Responder and Red Cross instructor John Beaton, third from left in back row.
