Tracy Hudson sat with her daughter, Sara, at the wind-up party of the Kiwanis-sponsored “Laugh Out Loud @ the Library” reading program. About 200 participants were challenged to read 20 or more books at their reading level to win the grand prize and an invitation to the taco-bag lunch party which was held at noon on Friday in the library basement. A total of 90 kids reached the goal and many even surpassed it, reporting that they read 30 books or more.
