This wayward beaver was spotted at the corner of Church Street and Veteran Avenue around 6:30 p.m. last Thursday. After drawing its share of onlookers, the aquatic mammal eventually was caught and relocated back to the river by helpful citizens. A second beaver caused a commotion that same day at Second Street East and Williams Avenue area before being captured by police. A video of that incident is available at www.fortfrances.tv
