Chest-dinner

Rose Bernardi, left, and Lil Newman checked out the live auction items up for grabs at the annual “Community Chest” dinner Sunday evening at La Place-Rendez-Vous. The event drew about 270 people to raise funds to provide financial aid to local families facing medical expenses. The fundraising total was not available as of this morning.
