Josh Phillips, the Clover Valley Farmers’ Market agri-food marketing intern, was busy carving pumpkins there Saturday as Melissa Hughes looked on. There is just one farmers’ market left for the season and a number of activities are planned for “Customer Appreciation Day” this coming Saturday, including the Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s decorated pumpkin raffle and a Market Café brunch. Bulk honey and maple syrup also will be available, and there will be a haunted house and lots of pumpkins.
