Performing “Walk Like A Babe,” the “Boobettes” (Shawne Crowe, Sue Jones, Shawn McCaig, and Loraine Currie) entertained the 220 women who gathered at La Place Rendez-Vous on Saturday for the Rainy River District Breast Health Network’s seventh “Luncheon of Hope.” Women got a chance to enjoy lunch, socialize, and enter raffles, as well as get an update on advances in breast cancer care from La Verendrye Hospital’s newest surgeon, Dr. Carole Spread.
