Despite a new temporary stop sign for southbound traffic at the corner of Mowat Avenue and First Street East, OPP Sgt. Dave Saunders was out directing traffic there for three hours Friday afternoon. The stop sign, which came down today, was installed in hopes of alleviating traffic congestion at that intersection over the weekend.
