Mia Gilbert, left, and program co-ordinator Mandi Caul worked on a design for a shawl for Gilbert last night at the United Native Friendship Centre’s “Cultural Connections for Aboriginal Youth” (formerly known as the Urban Multipurpose Aboriginal Youth Centre), located at 616 Mowat Ave. Youth can work on their regalia there every Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. For more info, call 274-0561.
