Mary-Catherine Kelly, left, and Cheryl Wilson enjoyed an entrée of date-stuffed pork tenderloin, roasted rosemary potatoes, and a carrot and green bean medley yesterday evening during the sixth-annual “Chefs’ Charitable Dinner and Auction” hosted by the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts at the Adventure Inn here. The dinner, which drew more than 70 people, featured a multi-course meal, silent auction, and a “surprise draw,” as well as musical entertainment. Organizers still were tallying up the funds raised as of this morning.
