Lt. Meredith helped Alyssa Spence, a Grade 7 student at J.W. Walker School, put on a heavy tactical vest during a visit to the school on Thursday. Three representatives from the Canadian Armed Forces, two of whom had recently returned from Afghanistan, spoke to students about their experiences.
