Long ride needs slight repairs

Jana Groot of Smithers, BC took time to do some maintenance on her bicycle before joining her colleagues for a fish fry dinner at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo last night. She is part of the “Sea to Sea” cross-country that is riding from Vancouver to Halifax to celebrate 100 years of the CRC in Canada and to raise funds for the “Make Poverty History” campaign. —Michael Hilborn photo
