The Town of Fort Frances recently has seen several incidents of the public disposing of junk, such as electronics and appliances, on the side of the road on the 800 block of Sixth Street West. The town bylaw enforcement department would like to remind the public that if anyone is caught leaving garbage on town property, they face either a set fine of $55, or, depending on the circumstances, one up to $10,000 for a first-time offender, and up to $25,000 for a repeat offender. —Duane Hicks photo
