This bear slowly succumbed to the effects of a tranquilizer dart while sitting high up in a tree on Scott Street this morning. As luck would have it, the bruin chose a tree next door to the MNR office. The town bylaw department has recevied nearly 80 calls regarding bears in the past three weeks. —Melanie Béchard photo
