Dear editor:
I’m writing this letter not only upset and aggravated, but out of concern for my fellow citizens of Fort Frances.
My concern is the danger unsalted sidewalks, alleys, and streets propose to all of our citizens, including and especially senior citizens.
My elderly grandmother is in Thunder Bay for surgery right now because of this problem.
My taxes are going to plowing/salting. Why is this not being done? Especially around senior citizens homes? My poor grandmother will be in the hospital for Christmas now with a broken hip because the Town of Fort Frances didn’t salt their sidewalks, alleys, and streets.
My grandmother has been a local citizen for 50+ years. Almost everyone knows her. She now has to quit her job, and probably will be stuck taking pain medication for the rest of her life.
This town is always after its citizens to look after the town. But in my opinion, the Town of Fort Frances should be taking are of their citizens before the citizens take care of the town!
