Press Release
Starting Monday (Nov. 25), the Northwestern Health Unit will be conducting a telephone survey with its partners.
The survey follows a similar study done with a random sample of area residents earlier this year.
The survey will be conducted by Oraclepoll Research, an independent firm based out of Sudbury.
The short, confidential survey is seeking information from individual partners (from health, education, social services, and other agencies) about their awareness of health unit programs and services, perceptions of their partnerships with health unit, and how the health unit can help make our communities healthier.
“This is another way we are gathering the information we need to provide our region with the best public health services,” said Mark Perrault, CEO of the Northwestern Health Unit.
“Our work with partners is so important to positively influence health in our area,” he stressed.
The health unit also will use the survey to measure the success of its 2013-2016 Strategic Plan.
“Our strategic plan outlines all of the things we want to accomplish over the next four years,” noted Perrault.
“A survey now, and a survey again in 2016, will help us know if there have been changes based on the work we have done,” he said.
