Dear editor:
You could put a finger on why violence is constantly increasing every day by watching television and reading the newspaper.
Watching any program on TV, whether sports, movies, politics, etc., there are plenty of advertisements for violent movies in the making and the program, “The Living Dead,” to which the Times had it illustrated on the front page last week in a very horrid manner stating “Return of the living dead.”
The mention of the food representing dismembered body parts was even worse—and sickening to say the least.
If this is supposed to represent Hallowe’en, then it could be harmful to the prodigy making their rounds dressed up in a minor fashion getting treats for their efforts.
There is something wrong with people who enjoy watching such hideous programs like “The Walking Dead” when they can watch excellent movies on HBO.
Yes, I believe it is violent movies that triggers violence, which is being experienced in today’s movies, along with addiction to dope; nothing else.
