The investigation into a threat to the Northern Lights Credit Union is continuing under the guidance of the Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit.
Police also can confirm no additional perceived threats have been received or reported, and school board officials have been consulted and updated.
The OPP is urging the public to contact police should they have any information pertaining to this crime.

They also can text “tip262 and their tip information” to CRIMES (274637).
As reported yesterday, the Rainy River District OPP received a report of a bag located behind the Northern Lights Credit Union shortly before 9 a.m.
Officers confirmed that a threatening note was left with the bag for credit union staff with instructions to fill the bag with money.
The note stated that if the instructions were not followed, there would be consequences for other businesses or schools in the Fort Frances area.
The Times has learned the word “bomb” was mentioned in the note.
The credit union remained closed for the day as officers collected evidence and consulted with staff.
As a precaution, Fort Frances schools remained in a “hold and secure” pattern until the end of the school day to ensure public safety and allow police time to conduct their inquiries.
Children were dismissed from school as per usual dismissal operations without incident.
All Muskie after-school practices also were cancelled yesterday.
