Dear editor:
A big thank you to the kind gentleman who cut and cleared the storm-damaged trees on the Weller Lake road prior to the Labour Day weekend.
Mother Nature’s fury left 15 or 20 trees across the road prior to the Cuttle Lake landing.
I could negotiate around the mess by driving in the ditch. But this would have made it hard for the 70 or so fishing people who frequent the Cuttle landing, etc. on Labour Day weekend.
Randy Carmody took a rain day, got wet, and cleared the mess.
If you get an opportunity, give him an “Atta boy.”
Thanks again,
Jack Steinke
