Another familiar face will be donning the colours of the Fort Frances Lakers again this season.
The Lakers announced on Saturday the signing of centre Miles Nolan, 19, who will participate in his second season with Fort Frances.
The 5’9”, 160-pound Geraldton product posted four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 39 games last year, along with 10 penalty minutes.
Nolan had no points in 13 playoff games.
“(Nolan) was mainly used as a checking centre who penalty killed, but this season the team hopes Miles can have a breakout season offensively much like his last year in AAA Midget,” said Lakers general manager and head coach Wayne Strachan in a press release on Saturday.
The Lakers kick off their main training camp on Aug. 29.
