The first team has been eliminated from the 2013 Rainy River District Fastball League post-season.
The 10th-seeded Sabaskong Lakers suffered their second-straight loss in the double-knockout format, falling 13-12 in a thriller to the 12th-ranked Dawson Tigers last night.
In other action, Manitou beat Sight & Sound 6-1, Beef’s Warriors edged Stratton 6-5, Barwick downed Northwest Bay 6-1, and Big Grassy bombed Big Island 20-0.
The post-season will resume Tuesday night with four winner-take-all affairs.
Sight & Sound battles Rainy River, Couchiching faces Stratton, Northwest Bay hosts Dawson, and the Sabaskong Cubs go up against Big Island.
