Ojibwe minister Jim Sky, of St. Paul, Mn., will be sharing hope and encouragement for those held captive by addictions as he relays his story of the delivering power of Jesus Christ from his past personal addictions to heroine/ cocaine and alcohol.
He will be at the Emo Inn in today (June 10) at 7 p.m.
Sky is coming to Rainy River District and area for seven days to meet and minister to those hungering for more of God, and to testify of His delivering love and resurrection power.
After struggling for many years with drug and alcohol addictions, being stabbed several times, shot, and experiencing many personal miracles and witnessing miracles happen to others, he travels all over the U.S., Canada, and England sharing the good news of Jesus.
Meanwhile, Maynard and Joanie La Vallie, from Red Lake, Mn., will be sharing in country-style worship.

In related news, author and Christian speaker Juan Francisco, from Providence, R.I., will be sharing a visionary message of hope and inspiration for the Northland from his book, “Fire From The North.”
He will be at Christian Reformed Church in Emo tomorrow (June 11) at 7 p.m., and then at the AmericInn (formerly the Holiday Inn) in International Falls on Wednesday and Thursday (June 12-13).
Francisco humbly shares that there is a revival coming to the north and the churches need to unite in the truth of the Gospel as brothers and sisters, and co-operate as the Body of Christ in order to fulfill the great commission.
Sky will be a supporting minister at all the meetings.
