When the Muskie boys’ soccer team heads to Stratford tomorrow, they already will know what lies ahead of them at this year’s OFSAA ‘AA’ championship.
Seeded as the fifth and final team in Group ‘C’ as the result of a blind draw, the black-and-gold will begin their quest for a provincial title Thursday at 9 a.m. (EDT) when they face the St. Martin Mustangs of Mississauga.
The winners of the last three NorWOSSA titles then will return to the pitch at 1:30 p.m. for a match against the Denis O’Connor Chargers (Ajax).
On Friday, the Muskies will take to the pitch at 9:30 a.m. versus the Holy Trinity Tigers (Bradford) before concluding their round-robin schedule at 2 p.m. against the Wellington Heights Wolverines (Mount Forest).
The top two teams in each of the four pools will advance to the quarter-finals, which will be held Friday at 5:15 p.m.
The semi-finals will take place Saturday at 9 a.m., with the final set for 1:30 p.m.
