About 1,600 Hydro One customers in Rainy River District were temporarily without power yesterday afternoon, likely due to high winds and heavy rains.
Hydro One reported that between 11:14 a.m. and 3:41 p.m., area residents experienced a forced power interruption—the exact cause of which had not been determined as of this morning.
Residents of Rainy River, Devlin, Morson, Atwood, Blue, Carpenter, Curran, Dilke, McCrosson, Morley, Nelles, Pratt, Spohn, Sutherland, Tovell, and Worthington were affected.
Also affected were Big Grassy FN, Big Island FN, Washagamis 38 FN, and the Wildland Game Reserve.
