Just after midnight on Friday, Dryden OPP officers were on patrol in Vermilion Bay when they spotted a 2008 white Dodge pickup truck with Manitoba licence plates stopped at the Machin medical clinic.
Officers felt it was suspicious and tried to speak with the driver. But the driver refused to stop for police and a short pursuit began.
The officers discontinued the pursuit a short time later due to public safety concerns.
A short time later, the vehicle (which had been reported stolen from Manitoba) was located after it was involved in a collision and all occupants fled into a nearby wooded area.
Officers were able to follow the suspects and arrested the occupants.
The driver, a 17-year-old male from Saskatchewan, was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, breach of probation, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a controlled substance.
The driver also had outstanding warrants from Saskatchewan.
Two females from Saskatchewan, aged 14 and 15, were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
A fourth teen, a 17-year-old male, was located a short distance away and also was charged with breach of probation and possession of property obtained by crime.
All four were remanded into custody pending an appearance today in bail court in Sioux Lookout.
