Muskie Taylor Whitehead continued his impressive season in senior boys’ badminton yesterday, finishing in first place at the NWOSSAA championships in Dryden.
Whitehead, who is just in Grade 9 at Fort High, now advances to the all-Ontarios, which will be held May 2-4 in Pain Court and Chatham.
The 14-year-old Whitehead, who has yet to lose a competitive match in high school play this season, went a perfect 5-0 to capture NWOSSAA gold.
Runner-up Aaron Parilla of St. Ignatius (Thunder Bay) will join Whitehead at OFSAA.
