Two Kenora men are facing second-degree murder charges in connection with a suspicious death there over the weekend.
Peter Fisher, 20, and Ringo Carpenter, 22, also were charged with arson.
Both were scheduled to appear in court yesterday in Kenora for a bail hearing.
The investigation began Saturday around 4:30 a.m. when members of Kenora OPP and the Kenora Fire Department responded to a fire inside a residence on Sixth Street South in Kenora.
Minimal damage was caused by the fire.
One male was located deceased inside the residence, and identified as 21-year-old Langford Ogemah of Kenora.
A post-mortem examination was conducted Sunday in Kenora, at which time the death was determined to involve foul play.
Members of the North West Region Crime Unit are continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigations Branch.
