Last night’s game between the Fort Frances Lakers and visiting Ice Dogs had to be postponed due to poor road conditions in the Dryden area.
A make-up date still is being determined as both teams will be in action tonight at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Tonight’s game marks the start of a three-game road trip for the Lakers, who also will visit the Thunder Bay North Stars on Saturday and then travel to Duluth on Sunday for a meeting with the Clydesdales.
Following that road swing, the Lakers will host the Minnesota Wilderness next Tuesday (Dec. 18) at the Ice For Kids Arena before competing in the annual SIJHL “Showcase” event in Duluth on Dec. 22-23.
The Lakers (14-11-0-1) currently sit in fourth place in the standings, one point back of the North Stars for third.
