Members sought

The Fine Line Gallery is looking to expand our membership.
The Fine Line Gallery is a co-op comprised of members who are interested in promoting the arts in the Fort Frances area and who have items of art that they wish to sell.
The gallery has been free to the public since its inception 17 years ago.
The members have supported the arts, and raised awareness of same, by organizing art workshops, promoting an “artist of the month” each month, organizing two shows per year that are open to non-members, donating objects of art for draws and door prizes to charities for fundraising events, and promoting art in the schools/community.
Because the number of members has decreased in the last two/three years, we now are looking to review our membership criteria and offer different types of memberships to artists/individuals who wish to support the arts in this community.
Three types of memberships have been proposed:
•Full membership—current membership privileges and obligations.
•Partial membership—for individuals who have never been a member or who have not been a member in the past five years.
This membership provides limited wall or table space for a reduced membership fee.
Individuals must commit for three months, and partial membership may be renewed after the initial three months if space permits.
•Friends of the Gallery—for individuals who wish to support the gallery but have no product for sale.
For privileges and obligations of all types of memberships, contact any of the individuals listed below or stop in at the Fine Line Gallery at 529 Mowat Ave.
The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
