Two members of the Muskie cross-country running team will be off to the all-Ontarios next weekend after earning top-five finishes at the NWOSSAA championships yesterday in Thunder Bay.
Grade 9 student Sydney Radigan captured second place in the Midget division with a time of 14:00.55, which had her 33 seconds behind winner Molly Carlson of St. Ignatius, who has local roots.
Joining Radigan at OFSAA will be Grade 10 runner Hailey Beaudry, who finished fifth in the Junior division with a time of 19:10.62
Andie Wood of Dryden won the race with a time of 18:00.40.
The OFSAA showdown is slated for Saturday, Nov. 3 in Brampton.
